The idea of this group came up after meeting and playing with Tisha Mukarji in two occasions in Berlin. Tisha had also played and recorded a duo with Angharad Davies (Endspace). When I moved to London, I decided to pursue the idea of this trio -supported by Simon Reynell.
The trio played their first concert and recorded on the same day.
The concert took place at the St Anne’s and St Agnes church, in the City of London on December the 13th. Also on the programme, the solo saxophone sound of John Butcher, and the spoken word of Carol Watts.

Our first release ‘outwash’ on Another Timbre has made it to several end-of-the-year lists including The Wire’s ‘Outer Limits’, Jesse Goin’s blog, Richard Pinnell’s The watchful ear, the freejazz blog and Javier Santafe’s blog.
